As an educator, he has conducted numerous LASIK instructional courses, medicalin-service and live surgeries throughout Asia. He is widely sought after as a respected global key-opinion leader in the fields of phacoemulsification, intraocular lens design, refractive surgery, corneal topography, ocular wavefront aberrations and visual optics. He has a keen interest in the design and optimization of new phacoemulsification and intraocular lens technologies. He is an active member of the prestigious IOL Power Club, an export group dedicated to improving cataract outcomes.
