Dr. Kimiya Shimizu is a director general in department of eye center, Sanno Hospital. He received his MD from Kitasato University School of Medicine in 1976, PhD from Tokyo University in 1984. He worked for Musashino Red Cross Hospital as a director from 1985, and then worked for Kitasato University School of Medicine as a professor and chairman from 1998 to 2016. He specializes in cataract and refractive surgery.
