Dr Lee obtained her undergraduate Medical Doctor (MD) degree from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia(UKM) in 1994 and completed Master in Surgery (Ophthalmology) from the same university in 2006. She completed her 3-years Glaucoma Subspecialty training in Kuala Lumpur Hospital; Malaysia in 2012. She had also completed Glaucoma Fellowship (Adult & Paediatric) in Moorfield Eye Hospital, United Kingdom under Professor Sir Peng Khaw from 2011- 2012.
Dr Lee is a keen teacher. She was appointed as Honorary lecturer for Penang Medical Centre 2006 -2009 and was the external lecturer for Master in Ophthalmology for Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia(UKM) in 2009.
Dr Lee had been invited speakers for local and International Ophthalmology conferences. She has numerous publications in international journals related to Cataract and Glaucoma. She was one of the invited Participant for the Project Forum of the 9th World Glaucoma Association Consensus Meeting on Childhood Glaucoma in 2013.
Dr Lee is currently Consultant Ophthalmologist & Glaucoma Specialist in Ramsay SimeDarby HealthCare in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She is the current Honorary Treasurer of the Malaysia Society of Ophthalmologist, a member of Asia Pacific Glaucoma Society and Childhood Glaucoma Research Network under World Glaucoma Association.
