I?I am an assistant professor of immunology in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences
(MD, PhD) from 2013 till now.
I started my research on Buerger's disease from 2002 when I was a medical student and
made a research group for studying this disease with three of my classmates.
After the graduation and getting my MD in 2005, I followed my research on the clinical
manifestation and natural history of Buerger's disease in various patients. After about two
years, I found I might understand the etiology and pathophysiology of Buerger's disease
towards learning immunology. Therefore, I entered the PhD course of Immunology in 2008
and got my PhD in 2012. I have been following the researches since 2013 as an assistant
professor of the Mashhad University of Medical Sciences with amazing and multi-talented
students and colleagues with different clinical and basic specialties.
I have been a member of the International Union of Angiology since 2012 and a member of
European Foundation for Vascular Independent Research and Education (VAS) from 2010.
I have also been coordinator of the VAS-Biobank and image bank team for Buerger's
disease from 2013 and recently I have been included in the teaching panel and advisory
board of VAS. I am also delighted and honoured to collaborate in preparation of Buerger’s
disease chapter for VAS European Book on Angiology/Vascular Medicine (ISBN:978-88-
255-1052-2).
