  长期专注于鼻咽癌的临床诊疗及其相关转化研究,擅长鼻咽癌的放疗、化疗、手术及其综合治疗,尤其是复发、转移、坏死鼻咽癌等难治性鼻咽癌的临床综合治疗。获得发明型专利授权1项;发表SCI收录论著49篇,累计影响因子266.69分,通讯作者论著22篇;其中唯一通讯作者论著14篇,累计影响因子109.23分。主持国家级、省部级和校级等各类科研基金项目20余项,总经费1500余万,包括国自然面上项目3项。先后在美国临床肿瘤学年会(ASCO),美国耳鼻咽喉-头颈外科年会(AAO-HNSF)、欧洲放射肿瘤年会(ESTRO)、世界鼻科大会、中国临床肿瘤学会(CSCO)等国际国内著名学术会议上做主题发言10余次,并于2016年在美国科学院耳鼻咽喉及头颈外科年会(AAO-HNSF)开设课程班,成为近年来中国内地在该年会上开班授课的第一人;并分别入选中山大学肿瘤防治中心优秀青年人才培养计划(2009年度)、中山大学优秀青年教师培养计划(2010年度)、教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”(2012年度)、中山大学肿瘤防治中心“临床医学科学家”(2015年度)和广东省杰出青年医学人才(2018年度);分别荣获《生命时报》首届“敬佑生命•荣耀医者”公益评选活动“青年创新奖”(2016年),中山大学肿瘤防治中心第一届新技术评比冠军(2017年)和中山大学肿瘤防治中心第一届微创手术视频大赛冠军(2017年)等奖项。
