擅长复杂视网膜脱离、复杂眼外伤、高度近视眼底病变、糖尿病眼底病变和黄斑疾病等的诊治，对白内障超声乳化联合玻璃体切除手术治疗复杂眼底疾病有丰富的经验。发明眼内有色灌注液、微创套管取出5000mps高粘度硅油、改良ILM翻转遮盖、ILM填塞治疗难治性黄斑裂孔等。发表论文150篇，主持和参与编写专著、教材和诊疗规范等多部，获得国家专利7项。
