Dr Eeva-Liisa Eskelinen, University Lecturer, Adjunct Professor, Head of MSc program Genetics and Molecular Biosciences。
Eeva-Liisa Eskelinen has a long track record in autophagy field, in particular, in elucidating the fine structure of autophagosomes and autolysosomes using electron microscopy. She completed her PhD in 1993 at the University of Jyv?skyl?, Finland. She has worked as a postdoctoral researcher in G?ttingen, Germany and Helsinki, Finland, and after that as an independent investigator in Dundee, Scotland 1999-2002, and as a group leader in Kiel, Germany 2002-2005. In August 2005 she started as a University Lecturer at the Department of Biosciences, University of Helsinki.
