殷晓鸣教授，毕业于上海医科大学医学系(现复旦大学上海医学院)。在同校获免疫学硕士后, 前往美国德克萨斯州西南医学中心(University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas)攻读免疫学博士（PhD）学位。之后在华盛顿大学医学院(圣路易斯)完成博士后研究， 并以同等学历通过美国医学博士资格考试和临床病理住院医生实习，获美国临床病理执业医师资格。随即在美国宾夕法尼亚州匹兹堡大学医学院任助理教授、副教授和教授并获终身职位。2010年加入印第安纳大学医学院成为首任Louis Y. Mazzini病理学冠名教授、并任病理和检验系 (Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine) 分管检验之副系主任(Vice Chair for Clinical Pathology)及印第安纳大学医院系统之病理和检验中心实验室主任。

Education and Background:
Dr. Xiao-Ming Yin is the Vice Chair and the Louis Y. Mazzini Professor of Pathology at the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Indiana University School of Medicine. His research interest is mechanism of autophagy in liver pathobiology. He has published more than 140 original papers, reviews and book chapters with a total citation of more than 23,000 and an H-index of 61. Dr. Yin is a member of several scientific societies, and is a fellow of American Association of Studies of Liver Disease (AASLD). He is an Associate Editor of the prestigious journal “American Journal of Pathology”. He won the 2017 Outstanding Investigator Award from American Society for Investigative Pathology (ASIP). Dr. Yin has organized, chaired and moderated numerous scientific meetings and sessions, among which the 2012“Autophagy in cellular homeostasis and disease” workshop at ASIP annual meeting.
