Christopher Lattimer

Chris is a vascular surgeon specialising in venous disorders at the West London Vascular and Interventional Centre and is director of the Josef Pflug Vascular Laboratory, Ealing Hospital
(http://josefpflugvascular.com). He has an MS Thesis in arterial disease from St Thomas' Hospital, a PhD from Imperial College and an IT degree from the University of London (distinction). He trained at St Georges Hospital Medical School, London and completed his specialist vascular training as a Lecturer at St Thomas' Hospital and Kings College Hospital, London and in Perth, Western Australia and the Montefiore Medical Center, New York.
He achieved consultant position in 1999 at a vascular surgeon in East Kent Hospitals NHS Trust.
He is the recipient of numerous international awards. His specialist interest is in the haemodynamic assessment of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI). Recent published innovations
include the venous drainage index (VDI), the recirculation index (RCI), the saphenous treatment score (STS), the venous sludge index (VSI) and the discord outcome analysis (DOA).
